Application
You are able to apply to the History and International Studies Learning Community once you have formally been accepted to the University. The Office of Residence Life and Housing will send you a password to their Nyumba site. You find the Learning Community sign-up link on the bottom left side (if you do not see the link, contact Dr. Lansen immediately so we may correct the error)
- Go to https://nypublic.uncc.edu/login.cfm
- Sign in using your Nyumba login and password
- Select Learning Community
- Select HISTORY LEARNING COMMUNITY as you first choice
- Select your suite preference (single or double room in Cypress )
- Explain in a few sentences why you would like to join our program
- Submit your application
Once received, Dr. Lansen will process your request and email you the decision. If a welcome has been extended to join the community, you need once more to go the Learning Community section on Nyumba to accept it. Once completed you will be a valued member of our next Learning Community class!
