Eligibility and Selection Process

The History and International Studies Learning Community is open to all entering freshmen interested in majoring in these majors. You do not have to an advanced student to enjoy this Learning Community; just have a genuine interest in history or international relations, and be keen to receive preferential instruction.

Selection is on a first come, first serve basis until the LC is full. Although timely submission is of the essence, do not hesitate to contact Dr. Lansen (704 687 4644, oelansen@uncc.edu) to see if space is still available as we reserve some seats for special circumstances. Priority will be given to residential applicants; commuters may however apply

To be considered make sure that you put History Learning Community as you FIRST CHOICE on your electronic application (see Application ). We otherwise will not be able to review your application
